jetzt ist es schon acht Wochen, als zwei Monate her, das ich die USA verlassen habe und wieder in Deutschland bin. Meine Rundmail's werden ab heute in zwei sprachen geschrieben. Den jetzt schicke ich das ganze auch in die USA.
Ich muss sagen es war nicht einfach sich wieder an Deutschland zu gewoehenen, aber ich glaube das schlimmste liegt hinter mir. Ich sitze jetzt am Frankfurter Airport mit einem Flugticket in die USA, besser noch: Pensylvania, Philadelphia. In ungefaehr 12 Stunden stehe ich dan hoffentlich in dem Haus, was mir ein Jahr ein zu Hause war im Camphill Village Kimberton Hills.

today eight weeks or two month ago I left the USA and arrived in my home in germany. Now that I start sending these E-Mails also to my friends in the US I will write these mails bilingual so you guys can read it, too ;-)
It was not easy to come back home but I think I managed the worst part and now life can go on. At the moment I am sitting on the International Airport in Frankfurt waiting for my airplane to depart. My ticket will bring me back to the US, and even better: it will bring my to Panseylvania - Piladelphia. If everything works out it will take 12 hours and then I will be in the house that was a home to me for the past year. I am goint to visit Camphill Village Kimberton Hills.
Aber mal Ganz vorne Anfangen. Am 14. August kam ich zurueck nach Deutschland. Meine Mutter, Tante, Grosseltern, mein cusin und Phillip mit Verena kamen mich am Flughafen in Empfang nehmen. Es war etwas viel auf einmal, aber das passt schon. Zurueck in meiner Heimatstadt Kastellaun habe ich dan erstmal mein neues zu Hause gesehen. Meine Mutter und Tante habe wirklich einen grossartigen Job gemacht. Das Haus meines Grossveters hat sich vielleicht von aussen nicht so stark veraendert (auf den ersten Blick), abe rim inneren ist das Haus kaum wieder zu erkennen. Die Raeume sind alle viel heller geworden. Unsere Kueche ist mit dem Esszimmer verschmaolzen zu einem grossen Ess- und Koch-Raum. Das ganze obere stockwerk hat einen wunserchoen hellen Holzfussboden bekommen und mir stehen jetzt zwei Zimmer zur verfuegung (eines sogar mit Ferrari rot gestrichener Wand! Danke hier nochmal Mama ;-)). Eines zum Schlafen und eines mit Bueroecke und Sitzecke und ausblick auf die Burgruine. Ich kann mich wirklich gluecklichschaetzen, dass ich mich nach diesem ajh komplett neu einrichten konnte. Ich musste nur Kisten oeffnen udn feststellen ob ich das zeug noch brauche oder nicht und so sind die meisten Kisten sind geschlossen geblieben!
Noch kurz zum 14. August. An dem abend an dem ich wieder zurueck war, haben meine Guten Freunde abends ein kleines zusammenkommen organisert. War schon komisch die alten Gesichter wieder zu sehen, aber es war wirklich klasse!
So letz start at the beginning. On August 14th I came back to germany. My mum, aunt, grandparents, my cusin and Phillip with Verena cme to pick me up at the airport. It was a little bit much on just a single day but it was fine. Back in my hometown Kastellaun I got to see my new home. My mum and aunt really did a great job! Looking at it from the outside the old house of my grandfather didn't change to much (just the first impression) but from the inside... All the rooms are much lighter and brighter. The kichen and the dining room became one really great cooking and eating room. the whole upper floor bacame a new wooden floor and I got two rooms. One for sleeping and one with a small office corner and a lounge. When you sit on the coutch you even can see our old (stuidly) burned down castle. It was really great I had the chance to start all over new in new rooms into a new episode of my life. I just had to open boxes and decide if I need that stuff or not. Most of the boxes remained closed!
One short note for August 14th. It was the evening when I came bsck to Germany. My good friends organized a small get together. It wa weird to see all the old people again but it was really great!
Die erste Woche zurueck in Deutschland ging es an den Bodensee zum Nachbereitungsseminar fuer das FSJ (Freiwillige Soziale Jahr). Es war eine klasse Woche. Martin und Julian, die mit mir in Kimberton waren habe dort auch wieder getroffen. Wir waren eine Gruppe von ungefaehr 25 Jungs und es war klasse sich ueber die gemachten erlebnisse austauschen zu koennen. Einige gehen sogar zurueck in die Projekte in denen sie jetzt gearbeitet hatten. Einer ist weiter gegangen nach Lima... Vile Glueck nochmal dafuer ;-) Aus meiner sicht war dieses Jahr auf jeden Fall eines meiner besten Jahre bisher, aber ich bin immernoch auf der suche nach einer Steigerung.
The first week back in Germany I had to go down to lake Konstanz for the Review-Seminar of the FSJ (year of social volunteering). It was a great week. I got to see Martin and Julian again. I lived with them in Kimberton. We've been a groub of 25 guys and I really apreciated the opportunity to share our experiences. Some of the guya actualy did go back to the projects they've been in the last year. On even went on to Lima, again all the best for you ;-) I would say this past year was on of the best I had until now but I am still looking for improvements.
Grossartige News: Mein kleiner hat TUEV und ASU bekommen und als belohnung gab es einen "Support Biodynamic Agriculture" Sticker.
Great News: My small one made it though the state inspection and for a treat he got a "Support Biodynamic Agriculture" sticker.
Dan kam das erste Septemberwochenede waren Lucas, Simon und Leila wieder in Deutschland. Also ging es erst nach Moenchengladbach, Lucas einsammeln und dann nach Freiburg wo wir simon trafen. Leila hat sich in den Zug von Basel nach Freiburg gesetzt und somit waren wir vier wieder zusammen ;-)
Wir hatten ein grossartiges Wochenede. Jeder hatte viel zu erzaehlen ueber Dinge, die andere verpasst haben und wie es ist wieder zurueck in Deuschtland, beziehungsweise der Schweiz, zu sein. Es ging dan auch nach Freiburg um sich die Stadt anzugucken und natuerlich um das Nachtleben dort etwas zu geniessen.
So on the first september weekend Lucas, Leila and Simon were back in Germany so I drove first to Moenchengladbach to pick up Lucas. Then we two drove down to Freiburg to meet Simon. Leila took the train from Basel to Freiburg and so we were all together again ;-)
We had an aewsome weekend. Everybody had much to tell about stuff the others missed or how it feels to be back in Germany, or Switzerland. Later we went to Freiburg to see the city and to enjoy the nightlife.
Im Monat September arbeitete ich dan auch wieder in Luxebourg um etwas Geld fuer Australien zu verdienen. Ich habe es geschafft ein paar Projekte abzuschliessen die ich vor einem Jahr nicht beendet bekommen habe, von daher ist das ein gutes Resultat. Dieser Monat wahr gepraegt von sehr viel Autofahren, aber es war super eine Aufgabe zu haben. Ausserdem habe ich mal wieder gemerkt, das ich wirklich fliegen will.
The month of September I spend in Luxembourg making some money for the trip to Australia. I was able to finish some projects I didn't finish a year ago so that was great. This month I was driving really a lot but it was great to have something to do. And I also sawone more time that I really want to fly.
So um es nicht zu lange werden zu lassen jetzt noch eine zusammenfassung aller weiteren events in den letzten zwei Monaten:
Endlich war ich mal auf dem Oktoberfest in Muenchen. Wir waren dort mit Edda, Susen, Matthias und Phillip. Vor Ort haben wir dan noch Simon mit seinem Freudn Phillip aus Berlin getroffen.
Ein Wochenende war ich mit meiner Mutter und Tante in Garmisch-Partenkirchen und waren auch auf der Zugspitze. Von hier aus sind es ca. 6000km nach New York City, wo ich eben noch war, und etwa 17.000km nach Sydney, wo ich in ein paar Tagen sein werde.
Dan waren mich Simon und Lucas noch besuchen. Wir haben zwei bekannte aus den USA besucht, Ralf und Jessica (alles Gute fuer euch beide!), und haben uns nochmal etwas auf unseren Gemeinsamen Trip nach Australien vorbereitet. Wir werden wohl die erste Woche in Sydney sein und dan geht es vermutlich erstmal nach Brisbane un
d dan sehen wir mal weiter.Nachdem ich aus Dallas wieder gekommen bin ging es noch auf der Oktoberfest in Moersdorf mit den meisten guten Freunden und wir hatten eine grossartige Zeit!
So I don't want to write too much so here the other events of the past two month:
Finally i made it down to the Octoberfest in Munich. Edda, Susen, Matthias and I went down there and met Simon and his friend Phillip from Berlin.
One weekend I went down to Garmisch-Partenkirchen with my mom and aunt. We also went up to the Zugspitze. From here it is about 3728 miles to New York City, to were I've just been, and about 10563 to Sydney, were I will be in a couple of days.
I also had a visit of Simon and Lucas. We tried to prepare a little more for out trip to Australia. We will be in Sydney for the first week and then we are gona go up to Brisbane. After that we will see what happens.
After I came back from Dallas some of my good friends and I went to the Octoberfest in Munich. We had a real great time!
Zu guter letzt dan noch das Wochenende in Philadelphia und die Woche in Dallas.
Es war grossartig in Philly. All die guten Leute wieder zu sehen und auch nochmal aus wiedersehen zu sagen. Ich habe gemerkt das ich noch nicht ganz mich von diesem Ort verabschiedet hatte. Aber jetzt bin ich bereit fuer neue Arbenteuer ;-)
Die Woche in Dallas war super entspannend, was ich wirklich mal gebrauch habe. Meine Schwester und ich waren einkaufen und haben mal etwas ruhe gehalten. Und Dank des Herren MQT (name zensiert ;-) ) habe ich endlich verstanden wie American Foodball funktioniert und muss sagen ich finde es ein klase spiel! Selber muss ich es aber nicht praktizieren...
And finally there is only one thing left; the weeken d in Philadelphia and the week in Dallas.
It was so great in Philly. I got to see most of the people in Camphill and I also could say goodbye again. I realized that I didn't really manage to let this place go when I left the first time. But now I am ready for new adverntures.
The week in Dallas was really relxing; and I needed it. My sister and I went for some shopping and relaxed for a little bit. And thanks to Mr. MQT (name changed ;-) ) I finally understood how American Foodball works! I have to say it's reallt interestind and I think it's a great game! Actually I wouldn't want to play it myself...
